Vision

2026 Initiatives

Bold Preaching
  1. Begin our sermon series through Luke to sit under the teaching of Jesus, grow in our love for him, cultivate thankfulness for his life and ministry, and live as faithful disciples.
  2. Provide several overview sermons on select Minor Prophets to be reminded of God’s grand plan of redemption from both Testaments.
  3. Preach two topical series addressing key areas of our union with Christ and stewardship of the heart. These are intended to reinforce our identity, a call to live in light of our identity, and to equip our church to evaluate the ruling desire(s) of their heart.
  4. Provide avenues for training members to read, interpret, and apply Scripture faithfully (e.g. workshops; Equip classes)
Passionate Worship
  1. Encourage every household to have an intentional plan for regular family worship. Provide resources to assist in the creation of these plans early in the year.
  2. Promote congregational singing by utilizing backing off the mic or a capella worship times in our corporate gatherings.
  3. Provide regular opportunities to utilize more of the church family in the services, such as through testimonies, Scripture readings, or other elements.
  4. Intentionally reinforce why we sing what we sing, connecting lyrics to biblical truth and doctrine. This may include brief explanations during services, written reflections, or midweek resources that help the congregation sing with understanding.
Fervent Prayer
  1. Provide a monthly prayer resource that will guide our church in growing as stewards of God’s grace through prayer.
  2. Establish regular, accessible prayer gatherings (e.g., early-morning or weekday prayer times) that invite focused, corporate prayer.
  3. Promote praying for the global church (e.g. VotM calendar; Open-Doors Booklet; Unreached of the Day app)
Courageous Evangelism
  1. Provide examples of evangelism through application from Luke’s gospel and personal testimonies from within our body.
  2. Aim to have two intentional gospel conversations per person each month.
  3. Seek to invite one person to join you at church each month.
Purposeful Discipleship
  1. Exhort members to adopt a 5-3-1 mindset: (praying for 5, evangelizing 3, and discipling 1).
  2. Encourage one another to be committed to small group and prioritize these relationships.
  3. Provide opportunities to pursue ACBC Fundamentals training and, ideally, certification.
  4. Highlight a resource per week throughout the year that would impact the body.
Compelling Community
  1. Facilitate quarterly Harvest Hangouts to bring the body together for fellowship and relationship-building.
  2. Host a potluck meal after services once a month for anyone who wants to join. (12:30-2pm)
  3. Every member committed to a small group and an area of serving in the church.
  4. Encourage one another to be a light in the world through ministry to neighbors, community members, and ministry partners.
