Equipping for Daily Life

Each month, Pastor Nick will teach a class addressing a different area of our Christian walk. Over the course of the year, you will be equipped with biblical training on the heart, the process of change, discerning problems biblically, parenting goals/instruction/discipline, guilt and repentance, forgiveness, fear and worry, and anger.

December’s Topic: Handling Anger Biblically

Goals for this month’s class are:

1. Contrast the biblical understanding of emotion from the emotion of anger
2. Contrast righteous and unrighteous anger from Scripture by examining motives, means, and outcomes
3. Demonstrate the common manifestations of unrighteous anger
4. Point out the roots of unrighteous anger (sensuality; desires of the flesh; unforgiveness; desire for control, etc.)
