How I came into a relationship with Jesus Christ
I was loosely raised around Christianity, but I never took God or the gospel seriously. I unfortunately thought that I was a good enough person and that I could earn my way to heaven. During my early time at college, I faced the consequences of my sinful heart and realized that I am not naturally a “good” person. In the middle of wallowing in my sadness and sin, God poured out His grace upon me by sending a Navigator to guide me to understand the gospel and call me to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ as my Lord and savior. Since that time in 2015, I have sought daily to grow closer to Christ in relationship and in knowledge. God has faithfully provided opportunities to learn and trust Him and His plans. May He be glorified for redeeming and sanctifying a sinner such as me!
What I do at Harvest
I am an administrative assistant and bookkeeper at HBC DSM! I seek to serve the church in as many ways as possible, but you will mostly find me playing with spreadsheets and organizing tasks for upcoming events.
Why I do what I do at Harvest
God has given me a strong desire to serve in full-time ministry and be a blessing to as many people as possible. This role allows me to support the pastor team and serve HBC in a variety of ways. I love that I get to interact with so many of my dear brothers and sisters on a regular basis!
What I do in my spare time
I love to spend time with my wife, Mikaela, and son, Ezekiel, as we enjoy our favorite hobbies of board-games, finding new restaurants, and reading. I especially enjoy studying God and am currently working on my Master of Divinity through Covenant Baptist Theological Seminary.
