How I came into a relationship with Jesus Christ
I was blessed to be raised in a Christian home. From a young age, I heard the gospel and knew that I needed to be rescued from my sin. Around the age of four, I made the decision to place my faith and trust in Christ. Shortly after, I was baptized. From there, I strived to please God when it was convenient or easy but struggled to commit every aspect of my life to him. During my first year of college, I faced the consequences of my own lack of devotion to the Lord and found myself in a lonely and dark place. It was then that I realized that I needed to take my walk with Christ seriously. I started to break out of my comfort zone to serve and love others and became more devoted to spiritual disciplines like prayer and Scripture reading. From there, God provided friends and mentors who helped me continue to grow in my faith. I have been striving to grow in my relationship with Christ more and more each day since then.
What I do at Harvest
I am the Worship Director! My role is focused on leading the church in corporately praising the Lord through singing, as well as working with the production team to incorporate creative elements to our services and events that help the congregation to engage with the Lord and each other as we grow in our daily worship of Him.
Why I do what I do at Harvest
Worship is our complete response to who God is and all that he has done for us. Music is such a creative and meaningful way to praise God and to help one another let the word of Christ dwell richly within us!
What I do in my spare time
