How I came into a relationship with Jesus Christ
Christ called me at age 13 when I was at a summer Bible camp my grandmother graciously sent me to. My immediate family did not know Christ or attend church at that time, so not being raised in a Christian home made my walk more challenging and difficult at times. However, as His Word tells us, God has been faithful to continue the work He started in my life those many years ago. I can look back and see the many times He has carried me through to where I am today, using every joy to encourage me and every trial to purify my life in Him. With eager expectation, I look forward to what He has in store for my future as I seek Him in His Word, prayer, and worship here at Harvest.
What I do at Harvest
In addition to serving on the Pastor Team, I also serve on the Welcome Team, as an offering counter, and until recently, had been serving on the Cleaning Team.
Why I do what I do at Harvest
I love the Lord and serving others. I also love being part of a church that stands firmly without apology on the Word of God. Preaching the Word “in season and out of season” is what drew my wife, Angel, and I to Harvest. It is a joy to be part of the loving family of believers that make up this church.
What I do in my spare time
My spare time is spent with my wife and best friend of 38 years, our family, friends, neighbors and our two small dogs Maggie and Mercy. I enjoy traveling when I can, reading, movies, history, and long walks with my wife.
